Every color comes from plant-based dyes, so the tones sit a little softer and warmer than the flat, uniform shades you get from synthetic dye baths. The rug ships rolled and wrapped in a protective kraft sleeve to prevent creasing in transit. It is compressed for shipping but fully relaxes to its true size within a day or two of unrolling.
